Music at Grace

The Music Ministry at Grace continues the long Episcopal tradition of providing choral, organ, and congregational music to support the Liturgy of the Word in worship.

Adult Parish Choir

Under the leadership of Seung-Hey l, Director of Music, the Parish Choir offers choral music throughout the year based on the lectionary readings. Special services sung by the choir include the Annual Lessons and Carols service, Christmas Eve service, special music during Holy Week and Easter, the annual Homecoming service at Historic Christ Church, Choral Evensongs during the year, and occasional concerts of sacred music.

Music at Grace is accompanied by our Welsh Memorial Pipe Organ, built by the Parsons Organ Company, and our Dakin Memorial Steinway grand piano.  Guest musicians join our organist Michael McNeill during the year to provide instrumental musical offerings.

Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Choir Room.

Occasional choral and instrumental concerts are held both in Grace Church
and outdoors on the Grace Church campus.

Virtual Worship Choir

Virtual Choir

Virtual choir provided musical accompaniment during the pandemic time. Members recorded themselves at home (usually on their iPhone/smartphone), singing along to cue tracks made by Michael McNeill and Patti Taylor, and submitted their recordings to be blended together. The music from this group is in our library and may be used occasionally in our virtual offerings. If you are interested in submitting recorded vocal tracks, contact Michael McNeill.
